We stayed in a two bedroom suite. It was spacious, clean and had a newly remodeled contemporary look. The beds were super comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with the basics and it had a decent size fridge. The host/owner was terrific too. Would stay there again!
Whether you're traveling for work, or for leisure, this is the best location for your travels. It's close enough to Sault St Marie if you forgot anything and need to pick it up from a box store, but remote enough to let you hit the trails. All in all, it's spacious and homey.
I had a lovely stay when I was in the upper peninsula for a few days. I went at a good time before the summer crowd and I was really impressed with Brimley Motel. My room was clean -smelled fresh! - and tidy and had really nice amenities: a full little kitchenette, WiFi and full cable TV. The motel is also located three minutes away from a very nice state park with a sandy beach on Lake Superior. 10/10, will not hesitate to visit again if I am looking to visit in the area.

Search this quaint little town for yooperlite rocks; I guarantee you will not go home empty handed!!! I absolutely love staying at the Brimley motel. The owner Ken, is super friendly & diligent about cleanliness. The pillows were FANTASTIC, bed linens & towels smelled so nice & clean all week. He buys new pillows & graciously gave me a few for my fibromyalgia. These pillows aren't cheap!!! He uses Harbor Bay pillows which is an ergonomic perfect fit for my busted neck. I sleep like a baby a EVERY time I stay here. His renovations & modern amenities make it a really pleasant stay; just like home. Its nice & quiet and you can see the lakeshore from the parkimg lot. There is plenty of room for friends with an extended XL leather couch for the utmost comfort. Having 2 large size bedrooms came in handy, as well as the local recommendations for dining & shopping. I cannot say enough great things about Brimley Motel & will absolutely be back to hunt yooperlites again soon. Know you are appreciated Ken & family !!!
This was an awesome place to stay!!! Our room was so darn nice!! Thinking ahead to stay here in July!!!! Hopefully we have a great summer,so we can do much more in the UP!!! Oh!!,forgot to tell you how comfortable the bed is, and the pillows too! Slept on a cloud!! OMG,want to be there now!!! Have 3 months to recuperate from surgery,and a stay here would be ideal!!! Ok every vacation now is at Brimley Motel Suites,the best ever place to be!!! Twice in 2025 so far,maybe a 3rd this year
Nice cozy little mom and pop type motel. Excellent communication with management. Quiet location and much more affordable than SSM or St Ig.
Ok I'm going to tell you that I'm the mother of one of the owners , but it really is a great place . Clean , cozy & every room has a kitchenette . I want to live in their big unit ! It has a better kitchen than mine & a washer , dryer right off of the kitchen. I always wonder if positive ratings are friends or family ,& I am definitely family ! However, bias aside, it really is a great place to stay
